I’m stunned that defendants Eric Parker and Scott Drexler will be put on trial for the THIRD TIME. Where in the hell did Judge Navarro go to law school? The Soviet Union? Communist China? Did she even go to law school or did she get her degree from a mail order diploma mill? That would be my guess.
The fifth amendment to the constitution prohibits a person from being put on trial more than once for the same crime – correction – alleged crime.
Semi-colon to semi-colon: nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb
The semi-colon means the clause stands alone and is not dependent upon what precedes it – nor what follows it.
Fifth Amendment to the Constitution
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
On Cornell Law School website, the case that is cited prohibiting anyone from being prosecuted twice for substantially the same crime is United States v. Ursery, 518 US 267 (1996). While the case doesn’t directly correspond the case against Parker and Drexler, the key phrase is: prohibiting anyone from being prosecuted twice for substantially the same crime.
No matter how many statutes there are in the federal code, they cannot get around the fact that after two trials already, anything they pull out of the code will be substantially the same crime.
I have to ask… TREY GOWDY… IS THIS THE JUSTICE SYSTEM YOU’RE SO PROUD OF? How about you JEFF SESSIONS… ARE THEY DOING A GREAT JOB IN YOUR OPINION?
Theoretically, there are administrative remedies for corrupt judges and prosecutors. Here are a few of the things that can be done. I give you this information with a caution… do this seriously because you are playing with fire. Don’t write your opinion because nobody cares about your opinion. Write the facts and let the chips fall where they may.

If you decide to file complaints, a suggestion would be that you do it with a small group so that you can work on your composition together and then all sign a single copy of it. If you are going to file complaints with more than one of the above, finish all your complaints – and then include copies of all complaints to all recipients. That will show them you are serious about your complaints.
Even if you don’t support the defendants in this case, you should be concerned as a citizen about the corruption in our justice system because the system in this country is out of control. A so-called justice system without boundaries and rules is not a justice system. It’s a criminal syndicate and everybody is at risk.
